The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, located on the magnificent and renowned Victoria Harbour, is opened in 1988. The HKCEC has 306,000 sqm meeting and exhibiton venue in total and welcomed over 92 million visitors.

In 2014, HKCEC decided to revamp its official website to provide more comprehensive information to the visitors and exhibitor, as well as develop satellite websites for the restaurants and catering services. VICOSYS was selected to handle the development.

The team has used Drupal, an open source content management system, to develop the websites for HKCEC. A fully responsive layout design has been used to enable nice experience for both desktop and mobile users.

The satellite websites are separated from the core website, but a similar layout design and user experience has been deployed, which gives a flexibility to have independent setting, but maintain a single and holistic images for HKCEC.

The new websites offered a wide range of services to the visitors and exhibitors, including event calendar, interactive floor, venue and restaurant online booking, etc.
